The Life Centre

The Life Centre is the new name for the buildings at 83 High Street - and it represents the start of something new, out of something old!

A place where we can share life together, supporting one another in the community we love.

You may know of these buildings as ‘Wychwood Baptist,’ which has been around for over 195 years (something old!) - but times change, and so have we.  Wychwood Baptist Church still exists, but it now meets at the Life Centre, which is something new, something bigger, something for the community. 

We love our community! The pandemic changed life a lot for most of us and has been a prompt to look for ways of being more involved in daily community life and maybe help us all to share life more.

Hence the name! 

A number of good things already happen at the Life Centre. Things for all ages, from Youth & Children to Seniors and everyone in between. Come and relax with friends at one of our Cafe’s. See what Other Activities & Events are happening.  

We also provide a Larder (Foodbank) and more as part of our Cost of Living Support.

Finally, whilst the Life Centre is not Church, services and support is available via Wychwood Baptist, which (as mentioned above) meets at the Life Centre.
